The 2024 APP Dallas Open is back, bringing premier pickleball action to Dallas, Texas. Hosted at the Oasis Pickleball Club, this highly anticipated event will feature elite players, amateurs, and the AARP Champions (50+) and Masters (60+) divisions. Athletes will compete for medals and prize money, with the event nationally televised on ESPN2.
A USA Pickleball Golden Ticket Event
The APP Dallas Open is a USA Pickleball Golden Ticket event, meaning that gold medalists will secure their spot at the 2025 USAP National Championships.
Southwest Regional Qualifier: 2025 APP U.S. Collegiate Championships
This event will also serve as the Southwest Regional Qualifier for the 2025 APP U.S. Collegiate Championships. Schools like Mississippi State, Texas, Texas A&M, Stanford, UConn, and Virginia will compete, with the top four finishers earning a spot in the Championships.
2024 APP Dallas Open: Players to Watch

- Megan Fudge: Fresh off her seventh gold medal of the 2024 APP Tour, Fudge will be the top seed in women’s singles, teaming up with Jill Braverman in doubles.
- Chris Haworth: With five gold medals in just seven events this season, Haworth is the men’s singles player to watch.
- Jill Braverman: The Newport Beach native has nine medals so far in 2024 and will look to add more in Dallas.
- Will Howells: Leading the men’s pros with 12 medals in 2024, Howells will aim to extend his dominance in Dallas.
- Simone Jardim: The all-time leader in APP Tour women’s gold medals, Jardim and partner Allison Harris are the No. 2 seed in women’s doubles.
- Rob Nunnery: Nunnery, teaming up with Jack Munro, is the top seed in men’s pro doubles and holds 32 total APP Tour medals.
