The Association of Pickleball Players (APP), owners and operators of the world’s first, the world’s best pickleball tour, has announced its initial tournament schedule for 2025, launching its seventh full season of elite pickleball competition. The robust event calendar includes 14 nationally televised APP Tour events, an expanded APP Next Gen series circuit, international competitions and additional tournament opportunities for pros and amateurs. Registrations for all APP Tour events will be available through the APP’s official ratings and tournament management software partner, UTRSports.net.
Pickleball fans far and wide will enjoy the sport’s most competitive matches and the world’s top players with more than 55 hours of linear broadcast coverage across CBS Sports, ESPN and Fox Sports networks, in addition to hundreds of hours on livestream platforms.
“As we embark on season seven of the APP Tour, we are firmly positioned for another year of significant growth and excitement,” said APP Founder Ken Herrmann. “The APP Tour continues to set the standard for tournament playing experience for all pickleball players, across all ages and abilities. Our expansion of our linear TV coverage mirrors the sport’s continued rapid growth, as we will continue to provide our pro players with a worldwide platform to showcase their skills and share their stories. The 2025 APP Tour season will be the best one yet.”
2025 APP Tour Televised Events
The 2025 nationally televised APP Tour slate features four Major tournaments—featuring enhanced prize pools and player draws—and six USA Pickleball “Golden Ticket” tournaments in which gold medalists can guarantee a spot to compete in the 2025 USAP National Championships. Competition is open to players at all skill levels, plus elite professionals including the AARP Champions (50+) and AARP Masters (60+) divisions.
The 2025 APP Tour campaign coincides with the opening of The Fort, the APP’s global headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The state-of-the-art global pickleball hub features 43 courts and the world’s first pickleball stadium, a training center, and serves as the home for the APP Academy, further supporting the APP’s mission in developing the sport’s talent and growing pickleball at all levels.
