After a successful summer event in Newport Beach in July, the Association of Pickleball Players (APP) announced that OWL Sport, the revolutionary performance pickleball brand that headlines the USA Pickleball’s Quiet Category, has secured the title sponsorship for The OWL APP Newport Beach Open on October 23-27. The world-class competition returns to the venerable Tennis and Pickleball Club at Newport Beach for the APP Tour’s tenth tournament of 2024.

The second edition of the 2024 OWL APP Newport Beach Open will also be a USA Pickleball-designated “Golden Ticket” event, in which gold medal winners earn the chance to pre-register to compete in the 2025 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships.
Competition at The OWL APP Newport Beach Open is open to all skill levels 3.0 through 5.0, plus those playing at the pro level, across a wide range of age brackets. Tickets and tournament information are available on theapp.global.
