“Ever since the APP Tour was founded as the first-ever pro pickleball tour, our events have showcased the most competitive and thrilling matches in pickleball, and 2025 will be no different,” commented APP Chief Marketing Officer Tom Webb. “Now entering our fifth year of partnership with CBS Sports, we’re pleased to provide a first-rate platform for players to show their skills and share their stories to national audiences, continuing to grow the sport we love.”
In addition to linear television broadcasts, APP Tour events throughout 2025 will be featured through hundreds of hours of coverage on livestream platforms, including APPTV on YouTube. The APP recently announced its full nationally televised tournament overview for 2025, boasting more than 55 hours of linear broadcast coverage over 14 tournaments.
The 2025 APP Tour season began with the Humana APP Fort Lauderdale Open, held Jan. 15-19 at The Fort, the APP’s new global headquarters in South Florida. Players, spectators and viewers alike were part of pickleball history for the debut of the world-class venue, which boasts 43 courts and the world’s first pickleball stadium.
